Readers can opt in to receive SMS
A Qoolection can now end with an Opt-In screen, where a reader signs up to receive text messages about a brand. The form is short, and where the link was sent to a contact already on record, those details are recognized rather than asked for again, and cannot be overwritten by what a reader types.
Consent is recorded against the brand
Each opt-in is recorded against the brand the reader signed up to, so consent given to one brand does not extend to another. Qoolo keeps a record of how and when each consent was given, and withdrawing it preserves that history rather than erasing it.
Send a Qoolection by SMS
A Qoolection can now be sent by text message to contacts who have opted in for the brand in use. Recipients are checked again immediately before anything is sent, so anyone who has opted out in the meantime is removed first.
